Studio Newborn Session in Des Moines, IA | 32 Day New Auden

Happy Wednesday friends! I hope the day is treating you well and that you’re enjoying your summer. But if you’re not in a good mood before reading this, there’s no possible way you can click away from this blog without feeling better! Why? Because there are way too many adorable pictures for me to share from Auden’s session a few months ago when he was 32 days new. His big sister Alayla not only had her photos taken with her baby brother, but she was a big helper throughout the whole session. What a sweet girl!

Just look at their bond already!

And then onto the family photos!

Look at those images and tell me you aren’t suddenly overcome with love! I can’t get over the little guy sticking out his tongue haha!

After we finished with the family photos, it was all about Auden!

Are you jealous of those eyelashes? I sure am!

I love putting baby boys in suspender outfits, it’s so adorable!!!

I really enjoyed this series because Auden was so sleepy and content.

We finished our newborn session with a crate set up. I really like all the browns. And I think Auden did too 😉

Thank you to this family for a fun afternoon, and for letting me photograph your entire family!

Here’s another example to show that you don’t always have to photograph a newborn in the typical 5 to 14 day window. I talk more about the best time to photograph newborns here.

Are you looking for customized newborn portraits? I’d love to talk with you! I’m now booking into September and October. Email me at to find out more information 🙂
